Would of kept the family together more-so, especially if it was a girl.

Would of kept my parents from pressuring me so much, as I’m the only one who hasn’t fucked up with their lives at one point or another, is annoying.

Got a phone call at 10am today asking if I could come in and do a split shift, then again at mid-day asking if I could come in. Didn’t answer each time so a phone message was left.

For once I’m actually ignoring them and not coming in, even though they probably do really need me in I can’t be arsed.

The boss owes me three weeks wages anyways, so I’m pissed off that I haven’t gotten that yet, he went on holiday a week ago today, should be back today, so thats reason for two weeks not being given yet, although he should have left them for me, as he said he would give them to me.

Pfft.

I got bored, took the head off my shaver and kept pressing in on the motor when it was on.

Motor still works all fine but because it rotates so fast it melted the plastic of the motor plastic knob, so now the head doesn’t connect to it properly. I break things in boredom too often, I suppose its back to razor and shaving cream until I get it fixed.

Well, just someone got to re-register it before us.

Kirill, the owner of Igloos disappeared a while ago, no-one has been able to get in touch with him, and naturally it had to fuck up in the way of Igloos.ca expiring in this time.

We’re currently living on irc.hatt.us until we can get the domain back, hopefully if the company who bought it respond and are super nice to us.

Not that good it was taken, but hopefully things will work out

I wanted a different theme, so I went for premium.

The theme I bought is more like a plugin too, advance features to enhance everything when blogging, more on the visual front.

I’ll change the header image soon when I find a good one or take a new picture (might ask someone who entered in the Photography Contest on LiveWire if I can use one of their images as there are some fantastic pictures on there.

The blog is pretty basic right now on personalisation, I will add new things as I go along, categories, blogroll, extra pages, etc. Trying to find my old plugins now, also going to quickly code a random quote bit for the header like my old blog, then find quotes which make me laugh!

Rock on. I’ll also try and use less smilies when typing now as I have an over-excessive tendency to use them. I also wish there was an auto-spell check on Wordpress as Firefox spellcheck seems to not work on it, well, it is shite anyways.

So my blog is finally back up, after my previous dedicated server provide fucked up big time, resulting me in loosing 7 of my active sites. Luckily I have my proxy network on a different server as that DataCenter didn’t allow it, which earns quite a bit.

ImageDo.com is gone and I really don’t have the time to invest into making it as big as it once was, with a site getting 600 images uploaded a day and a few 100,000 hits on images per day. It earned me a few $100 per month, with many hours invested in developing it along with some money in advertising and theme design. Luckily two weeks ago when I was re-formating my computer I found some back-ups of the site script and design in my mess of files.

Out of my nearly full 500GB hard drive I managed to find around 300GB of files which I decided to keep :).

In re-formating my computer I decided to go for a bit of an upgrade on the storage front of things, I’m now running on two lovely 500GB hard drives in Raid0 configuration (Makes the hard drives act as one with increased performance (things are shared across both). Still got my 250GB portable hard drive, might invest in a network drive since we have more computers in the house than we used to. (Two desktops, one mac, one laptop). Easier than plugging in pen sticks to transfer the files, or going into each others personal files over the network.

I’ve just come back last night from Ireland which I was there for 3 days, flew out on Tuesday morning at 6am-ish, arrived at the hotel at 8am which was awesome. The hotel was a bit noisy due to my room being above a nightclub, although that was only when they closed for the night and the pissed irish went back home. The irish are also very hawt and have lovely legs ;).

My return flight cost me £50, then £100 for my room, even though I only ordered a room with a single bed they put me in a family room with a double and two singles! Managed to get the things I wanted to get done there all done and dusted so I’m happy.

I was going to write the money terms in $$$s too then but then realised the exchange rate is much lower now, used to be £1/$2 but now is around £1/$1.84 which is totally shit. It will go up again in the future but annoying for the time being.

On the web development front I’m now providing web hosting with a friend, its gone great in its first month with both servers payed for - yes two servers :). Got some fantastic quad core machines with lots of ram and hard-drives in a reduncency setup; two different datacenters; one for shared hosting and the other for Virtual Private Servers, of which my personal sites are running off now (VPS).

So much more I want to write but will do it over the next few days, peace everyone :).

PS. I also resigned as a moderator on Golivewire.com, needed to for one reason or another, feels good to just be a member now and are able to enjoy being on LiveWire much more now.
